Clevedon Music Therapy can offer individual or group sessions in our music therapy room, schools, day centres, hospices, or your own home.
Before music therapy sessions begin, I will meet with you and discuss how music therapy can provide support. You will then be offered an assessment. The purpose of the assessment is to identify what benefits the sessions can bring.
I use a variety of instruments, including: piano, guitar, voice, drums, xylophone, and other percussion. Music can be accessed by all, and no musical skills are required, as music therapy focuses on the individuals abilities.
Individual sessions are usually 30 minutes, however this can be shorter or longer if required. Group sessions can last between 30 and 50 minutes depending on the needs of the group.
